Congratulations to one of our team Contractors, SpawGlass, for being awarded
PLATINUM General Contractor for Project of the Year award
on the Amon Carter Museum of American Art Reinstallation and Access Project, $2-$2m!
SpawGlass performed a complete interior renovation and ADA access upgrades for the Amon Carter Museum of American Art in Fort Worth, Texas.
Interior walls were replaced with a custom-made modular wall system allowing for the reconfiguration of gallery space to accommodate changing exhibits.
For optimal display of the artwork; new lighting systems were installed, and existing ceilings were demoed and salvaged into recessed backlit panels, carpeted floors were replaced with hardwood, and two new air handlers and ductwork were added to maintain precise environmental conditions.
Outside of the museum, new landscaping was added, and walkways and ramps were expanded to improve ADA access from the parking lot to the building.
The Projects Group was honored to be a part of the team on such a phenomenal project!
